For the Grandparents
We had a surprise snowstorm today. I heard word of 3-5 inches and we woke up with about 10" that turned into a solid foot throughout the day. We managed to convince Eliot, who keeps looking out the window and saying "I miss spring.", to go outside and play. He ended up enjoying himself quite a bit. He tromped through the snow for a good hour while Kevin and I dug out my car - snow up to my windows from the plows - and re-parked for the snow ban.

Very fun! Our snow is gone now and we are left with very ugly brown grass. I'm happy for our heat bill, but the kids would enjoy more snow.
Thanks for the tips on the beans -- I think we'll be eating them more.
